Last week I took a look at perhaps the best team that one could have drafted in '09 so today we'll look at the flip side, a team that could have reasonably been drafted in March of '09 and still end up being terrible.
R1 - Jose Reyes
R2 - Alfonso Soriano
R3 - Brandon Webb
R4 - Geovany Soto
R5 - Garrett Atkins
R6 - Chris Davis
R7 - Francisco Liriano
R8 - Brad Lidge
R9 - Ervin Santana
R10 - Chris Young (OF)
R11 - Mike Aviles
R12 - B.J. Ryan
R13 - Alex Gordon
R14 - Xavier Nady
R15 - Matt Capps
R16 - Chien-Ming Wang
R17 - Ricky Weeks
R18 - Cameron Maybin
R19 - Dioner Navarro
R20 - Fausto Carmona
I'm not saying that all of these would have been good picks but they would have been at least reasonable and look at the team you would have been stuck with. There are some injuries and regression here but mostly there's a lot of crummy, stinky, awful performances. I'd be willing to bet that any team that drafted more than about three or four off these guys, especially in the early rounds, would have a very difficult time competing.
I was able to survive drafting one guy on this list, Chris Davis, but what about you guys? Anybody have a "lost season" due to this bunch of misfits? Anybody fight through despite drafting something awful like Reyes, Soto, and Weeks?

Here are some of my teams, and the wonderful injury/disappointing combos that I've had.
Team 1
Jose Reyes, Aramis Ramirez, Navarro, Kevin Slowey
Team 2
A-Ram, Sizemore, R. Martin, Slowey, Webb, Capps, Gregg
Team 3
Reyes, Soto, C. Davis, Kerry Wood
Kevin, those are a lot of big name stinkers. Are any of those teams in the top half?
Team 3 is in 6th of 11, with a shot at 5th. The other two are in the bottom third or quarter.
