We are less than a month to opening day. I wanted to take a chance to thank everyone reading the site, commenting, and voting in the polls. I want to also take this chance to ask what can we change, do better, or keep the same?
This site does require a larger knowledge of sabermetrics and numerical analysis, and I know that's why many of our readers come here. I was pointed to one of my articles the other day as needing an MIT degree to understand all the numbers, but I knew the readers of this site would have understood it perfectly. To those who don't, never be afraid to ask or look at our important stats article at the bottom of the page for more information. We're always looking for stats to explain in detail for our "Beginners" series.
To those who have drafted already, I would be interested to see you post your rosters or send them to me so people can discuss your team. To those who have not drafted, please do the same once you have. The more information we can see, the better.
Lastly I would like to again ask for more of your writings for the Baseball Prospectus contest, which will be beginning in April. I need to have at least one article each week. Each month we will vote on the best article that month, and at the end of the season we will vote on the best article from the monthly winners. Please send your articles or stories to TroyPatterson@RotoSavants.com. These can be anything about fantasy baseball and should just be entertaining in some way.
