How does Eric Stultz trump Kevin Slowey?

I was reviewing players last night to put up for pickups today. I was in awe of the CBS most added when in the past week Eric Stults has increased 38% in ownership while Kevin Slowey has moved only 15%. Slowey is still only owned in 56% of CBS leagues and you can read my first review here. I will admit the only thing I will change is he has now added another complete game so maybe he can complete a few games each year.

The point of this review is not to push Slowey again, although he should be owned in mixed leagues. I want to try to get across that Stults should not be owned in anything but deep NL leagues. I am amazed how people will pick up any pitcher who has a good week when they first come up since all there ratios lead the league and the player is easy to find.

Stults is not a high prospect and has never really showed anything in the minors. He is 28 and had two opportunities in the majors and not shown anything. If he continues to strikeout only 4.80 batters every nine innings he will blow up very quickly. The .226 BABIP doesn't help either.
