Pitcher - Chris Carpenter (W, ERA, WHIP)
Been a long time coming, but with the Cardinals counting on him he should be back some time in August. He had a good first rehab game, but the 4 walks are a concern. It's his first start so he should be fine. I would pick him up by the end of the month and make sure to look out for his status in his next few minor league games.

Hitter - Ian Stewart (R, HR, RBI, BA)
He is back and for the rest of 2008 will have 2B eligibility. Unfortunately he is 2 games short of the 20 games needed for next year to keep it, but as long as he is up he makes a good 2B option. He has had 2 good games so far and should start to adjust to the majors.
