Pitcher - Gil Meche (ERA)
Gil has really been hurt mainly this year by an increased LD rate against him and a lower LOB%. He actually has a FIP or 3.87 so he has been pitching much better than he has shown. His BABIP is at .305 which is only slightly higher than his career rate. His K/9 is good too so he is worth an add in mixed leagues if someone dropped him.
He is owned in 56% of CBS leagues.
Hitter - Jeff Keppinger (BA, OBP)
He has been activated and should regain at bats right away. He might not keep up this OBP rate as his BB% is a bit low, but his K% is only 5 so expect the average to stay around or above .300. His BABIP is at .326, but has a career average of .315. He doesn't supply much in HR or SB, but is worth an add at a thin SS position.
