Daily Pickup - Charlie Morton / Andy Laroche

Pitcher - Charlie Morton

He has never thrown like this before, but he has gone 79 innings with a 2.05 ERA and a 0.99 WHIP in AAA so far this year. He also has 72:27 K:BB ratio. This is all much better than anything he has shown at any previous level. Perhaps they have refined his stuff and obviously they see something to keep promoting him. I really don't know what to expect since he only has 79 innings of pitching i would recommend. Perhaps take a flier in larger leagues, but don't start him unless there is a good matchup.

Hitter - Andy Laroche (R, HR, RBI)

Welcome back Andy. Not to confuse himself with his brother for slow starts he hits a homer in his first game back. He is currently in a platoon with DeWitt and Looney at 3B and 1B respectively. He is to good and has to much power potential to stay behind DeWitt though. DeWitt has had a nice run, but his power is not equal to Laroche. His average has also fallen some since my review as he slows down. Laroche is a 25 homer type guy so expect him to take over soon.
